Denver closes homeless encampment in Ballpark District

DENVER (KDVR) -- Just over a month after Denver police and city crews permanently closed an encampment of homeless individuals near the governor's mansion, a second encampment has been closed by the city.The second encampment was located in the Ballpark District, near Broadway Avenue, Curtis Street, 20th Avenue and Arapahoe Street. It was cleared on Nov. 1 and is now "permanently closed to camping," according to the city. LONGWOOD, Florida (AP) — A fast-food loving black bear stole a $45 Taco Bell order from the front porch of a home in the Orlando suburb of Longwood moments after the Uber Eats driver delivered it, an Orlando television station reported.This is no Florida man story, as there’s no evidence a Floridian dressed in a bear costume stole the food. A small plane crashed into the Gulf of Mexico, about 4.5 miles north of Marathon, officials said.According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Coast Guard and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission responded to the incident at around 2:15 p.m., Tuesday. A 41-year-old man accused of shooting a bride and bishop during a wedding in Pelham, NH back in 2019 was found guilty on most all of the charges he faced.A week after the trial of Dale Holloway got underway, a jury found the suspect guilty of six of the seven charges filed against him.Holloway, who represented himself during the trial, had been accused of opening fire inside the New England Pentecostal Church.
